Spectrim Distribution was originally established in 1994 as a subsidiary of the Murdock Group to provide purchasing and logistics for the Group's Builders Merchants Division in Ireland. In late 1994 the Company was appointed distributor for Unilin products in Ireland and Scotland and has since grown into the largest national distributor of multi-product hard surface flooring in the UK, with logistic centres in Manchester, Northampton and Edinburgh and Ireland. The Company is also a major importer and distributor of solid and engineered flooring from China and the Far East.
